Wildflowers, Elk Island National Park, Canada
Moss Lake trail is a 13km walk in Elk Island National Park that goes through land with bog, fen, marsh, grassland, scrubland,
deciduous and coniferous forest. Moss is the name of a homesteader that settled on the land before it became a park in the early 1900's.
Elk Island National Park is not an island but a sactuary for bison, elk, moose and over forty other types of mammals. The following gallery
is a small sample of the plant-life found along Moss Lake trail.
